Hello everyone, in short I was very surprised to here about the Ives Landry Foundation. Interesting, I just became aware of this closure recently and thought I would share the Link below. Indeed a (MOU) of an institution founded upon the values of a generation that new of the foundational requirements and "Critical Thought" needed to sustain continuous manufacturing growth. It's unfortunate but I assume the agenda behind the closure was justifiable? Almost seems like a trend setting process, up-rooting everything once meaningful? So, lets address the realm of "Critical Needs" is everything now going to be "Plug & Play" "EVs" "AI" and all the other "BS"? Its been stated many time if you don't know ask? So, I'm asking, does the OEMs, GM, Ford, Toyota, Hyundai, Honda, Volkswagen, Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Nissan, etc... and of course Stellantis (Chrysler).
"DO WE OR DO WE NOT NEED SKILLED TRADES" & Everyone Else From The Floor To The Board Within This Sector? What I do find funny is that something very foundational got lost in the shuffle? Knowingly, through a strong rooted skilled tradesman like Frank Stronach who had developed through his Skilled Trade a very large (International) manufacturing company called MAGNA?
IN FACT - "I GUESS ONE HAS TO BE A SKILLED TRADESMAN TO FULLYLY UNDERSTAND THE "CRITICAL THOUGHT" REQUIRED IN INDUSTRY THAT ACCELERATED MANUFACTURING YEARS AGO IN THE FIRST PLACE, WHICH SEEMS TO HAVE BEEN DELIBERATELTLY DILUTED OVER THE YEARS"? MY Thoughts. Note; Skilled Trades have always been in lockstep with successful companies.

However, the "Memory Of Understanding"(MOU) is not lost with the "Memory of Opportunities" (MOO) addressing the driving force behind the "Return On Investment" (ROI) meaning the "Return Of Intelligence" (ROI) so here we have MOU = MOO = ROI = RO-Intelligence. We're openly looking to inspire at least 3 OEMs in Memory of the late "Ives Landry" from the Automotive Sector, to create Strategic Partnerships in developing (Tier 1 supplier agreements) that values meaningful support from the Auto Sector, alongside this new institutional development creating the "Return Of Intelligence" for all. Delivering at ground level throughout our Work, Earn, Learn, College University Development. Our directive is simple a unique "Tier 1", supply base of Product, People, & Profession, that will also apply to the many other OEMs sectors not just Automotive. Where we address each individual first to gain their experience, skilled trade, education, or an entrepreneurship mindset, truly an asset attraction to small, medium, & large businesses.

In Canada, over the past 5 years especially we've seen Canadians literally "Benched" and non-Canadians flooding in upon every avenue? We've been subjected to a Hard U-Turn among many very distastefully corrupt agendas. Looking back to birth dates starting at 1995 making them now 30 years old today, where they have gone through the brunt of this mess we're in today (Terrible). And now those born in 2005 are turning 20 years of age, a prime demographics for our real educational, skills and training institutional development. So, our agenda as always has been putting people first, and as stated in the link above is to establish a similar but more direct institutional foundation. 1, Dedication from individuals supporting our vision throughout this development such as (My Fellow Tradesman), 2, Support from SMEs, the world of manufacturing 3, We too will engage Government of Canada, FedDev Ontario, FedNor and the province of Ontario for "foundational funding" to inspire a nation. 4, Corporate Sponsors and Donors would be respectfully appreciated and welcomed, 5, The possibility of participation (Joint Venture) from strategic academic institutions would be an asset in ramping up to fruition??? 6, developing our valued supply chain where Trains, Planes, Trucks, & Ships converge.
Both, USA & Canada, would benefit in growth, and prosperity, creating enormous opportunities for the people on both side of the fence? I also like the term Philanthropy in one sense by helping Mankind where in this case our "Next Generation". Perhaps an interest can be created for a very well seasoned manufacturing based interim CFO to work closely with the Founder/CEO together we would become tomorrows "Movers & Shakers" for all the right reasons.

With great respect to the late "Ives Landry" we're here to pick up the "Torch" for Canada & USA with a completely different and direct approach for our "Next Generation" and between Industry and Education, through the development of this New Industry-Based Skills Training College University. Together creating an economic competitive advantage for all in Both Countries.

Canada's Energy - Unleash our full potential is an Understatement, that alongside greater direct opportunities for the people to engage in the development of our country. And not just a piece of it here and there meaning one province over another? We are one country with shortsighted (Questionable & Intentional) government ideologies that seems to be way of course in helping Canadians?
Awe, the animosity continues, many skilled tradesman are certified tradesman. Years of training applies to many skilled tradesman. Yes, years of training, 4 or 5 years apply to many skilled tradesman. Yes again, many tradesman require safety and precision to master their trade with no shortcuts. Electricians have a 3 tier structure a 4 year for housing etc.., a 5 year for industrial, and then there is high voltage Linesman their called. Yes many if not all tradesman require on the job experience? How else would a tradesman gain experience. Shortsighted fits here, many tradesman cross the path of unique projects along side the repetitive ones. Troubleshooting and tight work spaces apply to many tradesman and they require their own specialties that suit their industry to keep the job projects moving forward in the field or in the shop. Tools and materials do not just apply to electricians, all tradesman have special tools to do special work. All tradesman being self employed (business) require what you have expressed? Have you complimented those tradesman that build the house so you can apply your trade after the fact. It is absolutely “BS” how on a job site where many tradesman are unique to the process of a completed project. Take a second to speak to an apprentice or another journeyman and just say “Nice Work” to an apprentice will give you a smile from ear to ear and a thanks, another Journeyman will just say “O” thanks. Vitally important appreciating another Tradesman’s work. However, there are many Swellheads in the trenches also.
2025 Budget? What's recognized is their unaccountable handouts - indeed universities including "Private Universities" that will become our future "Competitively" alongside our public universities to Train, & Educate Canadians - their confidence will not show a "Solution" only filled with more rhetoric - commitments to our students will become unprecedented at this new institutional development where our National Talents will derive from our 10 provinces and 3 Territories for our "Best & Brightest" - $51 Billion for our Gerry McGuire Universities are now drooling heavily with both hands and pockets open wide with their traditional saving the world rhetoric - sovereign, independent, & competitive will develop Canada??????? - $1 Billion for “AI” Note; I've seen over the past year a very intense push for "AI" which accelerated rapidly in the past few months if "Intuition" speaks louder than words meaning "if it sounds to good to be true it's usually not" and $1 billion to be transferred into the pockets of the universities how distastefully convenient, with encouraging signals for what type of skills and partners are being developed here for our “Skilled Work Force”? - Honestly; I truly wish I could (Trust) believe our "Interim" unelected government PM, efforts to engage a focus on Canadians, 10 years have shown us nothing but compromise? - getting this right they say, from 2015 the stench of compromise has only increased in hardship for Canadians - economic ambitions are theirs not for Canadians - indeed universities are ready to work with Ottawa it's their new Cash Cow just like the invasion was - commitments for Canadians with lasting results with no accountable? - has anyone viewed the past decade of cheap talk that paid themselves very well and threw Canadians under the bus?
Building Founders Requires A Foundation. This Private Industry-Based College University Institution has such a foundation. Shocks are Created and Waiting?
This seems to fit our intentionally led invasion, milking our economic cow down to the bone. Canadians will work when the opportunities actually "MEAN" opportunities?
