A "Trojan Horse" "NO?" However, An Ambitious Opportunities Driven Alternative.

Hello everyone, Business & Strategy, describes a new product, service, or policy that appears harmless or highly appealing at first, but is intentionally designed to shift the market or conquer competitors once it gains widespread adoption. The "Opposite" of a "Trojan Horse" in Education and Skills Training is expressed as an "Open Access Lighthouse Project" Meaning, the combined effort of two concepts? Characterized by radical transparency, upfront empowerment, and shared mutual benefits. While a "Trojan Horse" sneaks in "Hidden Agendas or Subversions". Note; the sneaking in hidden agendas and subversions certainly sounds familiar today in Canada? My Opinions Thoughts?
Lets get into the world of "Pre and Post", in skills training and education referring to "evaluation" frameworks (Pre- assessments and post-assessments) used to measure a learner's baseline knowledge, the actual impact of the instruction, and skill growth. Note; I have elaborated from time to time of the inspiring and positive (Evaluation Framework) expressed by many in "View" of this new College University Development, it to will impact instruction and skill growth. (Opportunities Drives Ambition)
Pre-Training/Education (Before), which is conducted before a program begins to establish a baseline. It identifies existing skills gaps, literacy or technical levels, and learning needs. It prevents teaching concepts the learner already knows and allows for tailoring the curriculum. Note: Our tailoring intent is through our "No Holds Barred", "Work, Earn, Learn" curriculum where ambition rules performance within our real world environment. For the purpose of Education, Skills, Training, and Apprenticeships through to Journeyman.
Post-Training/Education (After), conducted after the program ends to measure what was actually learned. It evaluates knowledge retention, practical application of skills, and whether the initial objectives of the training were successfully met. Note: Not sure about other institutions, "BUT" the criterier is the curriculum where competion is the measurement of success, wether being a Journeyman Red Seal apprentice or a new undergrauate student seeking a Degree, regaurdless how it is delivered, the end spells success, backed by our real world setting not found in traditional institutions.
Benefits Demonstrates ROI, Meaning - Organizations and educational institutions can provide objective data proving that the training actively improved performance rather than relying on guesswork. Note; Again can't speak for our Traditional Institutions where we eliminate the "Guess Work", with "Real Work", providing experience with improved performance not found within traditional institutions. Also, later on in this article you will see the 2003 guesswork$$$ and will it become a reflection of what will be applied again now in 2026 addressing skilled trades and apprentices?

The "Trojan Horse" as stated in our title reflects upon sneaking in hidden agendas and subversions. Note; The only difference here is we have absolutely nothing to hide, and the people have everything gain? Here, we're developing an effort to attract various (Sector) organizations combining their skills, knowledge, and resources to solve a "problem", by answering our 3+ decade call for an innovative institutional development for our Skilled Trades Shortages etc... Through our "Request" to attract those industry sectors to gain Stakeholder presents articulating and achieving a shared goal, rather than operating in isolation. Clearly, the effort here is and has always been within our Private Non-Traditional Industry-Based Vocational Technical College University development. Uniquely designed and orchestrated through two separate entities ("Open Access Lighthouse Project") working together. "Yes", we will be a competitor, "Yes", we will become a Private Institution, by supporting and delivering solutions to the problems at hand, and giving the people throughout all of North America an achievable alternative of opportunities available. Creating opportunities that drive personal ambition, and a renewed understanding of Manufacturing Jobs, Education, and Skills & Training.
From our Private Institutional development we will generously bring the cost down through our "Ambitious Administrative Program(s) of Enrollment". What does that entail? "An ambitious Large-Scale, High-Targeted Institutional Plan". Where some schools provide aid to every student "Not Here, Not Required"? Stakeholder Interests will become important on how technology, artificial intelligence????, investment, regulation, skills shortages, and innovation will enhance and impact productivity.

Here I would like to elaborate upon a thought? With all the recent acceleration & Hype in the interest of Apprenticeship Training and Skilled Trades Requirements. Just seems to have evolved as quickly as "COVID" did? Is it "Fact" or "Fiction"? My Thoughts?
Here we have 8 Links Hot Off The Press -Mike Rowe in the U.S. has been awarded $10 million to help build the skilled trades pipeline from the ground up. https://www.instagram.com/reel/Da4Gp5it4_1/?igsh=MWczMTM2enU2cWw1OQ==
What do we have here in Canada, Public Polytechnic College Systems & Universities, and all the "Hype" to fill (Or Not Fill) their student enrollment. The trick will be how they will secure themselves around the accountability side, and the demand side, for industry, and how long it actually takes a student to get to the completion line? "Time & Red Seal"? Note; Funny, to my knowledge our "High School Shop Classes were developed from 1910, through to the 70s" that's what encouraged young adults originaly to engage an interest in Skilled Trades etc... However, when manufacturing was outsourced decades ago, and the dismantling of many Shop Classes in our schools led to our now shortage of skilled trades. My Perspective.
Where’s Our Manufacturing Base, (Factories) - Today so many people have know idea of what a factory job is, let alone the benefits of such? Canada just announced another $2 billion training investment over five years as an important step toward building our skilled workforce. Canada needs to "Build Big They Say"? I would almost say that the main focus is upon our Unprecedented Highly Questionable Immigration of New Entries into our country, that's what's supporting the housing issue, and ignores the rest? My Thoughts. $2 Billion more, now we are up to $8 billion just think $4 more billion and we will match the $12 billion from 2003 that accomplished “Nothing"? "Must Be A Liberal Trend” of what's needed today? “BUT” Canada’s Goal Post keeps moving now 100,000 Red Seal Trades workers by 2031, expanding public training capacity is mission critical? Colleges, institutes, CEGEPs, polytechnics and Indigenous Institutes of Education are ready to deliver. "Really, Must Be A Mirical" Investing in public training capacity means cutting wait times, helping employers find the skilled talent they need at scale. Note; So when you investment in people, strong communities are created along side a stronger economy. The focus is narrowly minded where a Non-Traditional Private Industry-Based Vocational Technical College University Development, meaning a Private Sector development can be advantageous? Interesting. https://www.linkedin.com/posts/jockfinlayson_government-spending-public-sector-employment-share-7489718696014204928-tSMp/?utm_source=social_share_send&utm_medium=android_app&rcm=ACoAAEsVqa4BWedohTxUUQmMUqhaZNjJS7McCtM&utm_campaign=share_via
The federal government recently announced "Team Canada Strong", an ambitious plan to strengthen Canada’s skilled trades workforce. The initiative recognizes that Canada will need more than 1.4 million additional skilled trades workers by 2033 to meet demands created by retirements and "major investments in housing", infrastructure and energy. Note: The housing was created and is geared around all the newbies? Among other things? My Perspective.
Do we have enough employers willing and able to help develop new tradespeople like it has been expressed in the 8 links above? "Maybe or Probably Not", technical skills are taught through a variety of programs and apprenticeships, where attitude, accountability, communication (English Speaking), professionalism, where all workplace habits are often expected throughout one's apprenticeship? A disciplined process can "Hone" in and weed out those that choose not to comply. "Workforce readiness is becoming an infrastructure conversation tied to program design, employer engagement, & credential strategies"? Interesting?
What we offer and is expected; Clarity, and up front beforehand conversations before they invest their time where they may not have what it takes for a specific career choice. By being direct, kind, and spesifically walking them through exacally what's expected of them clears possibilities for the ambitious to be accepted for the challenges, - apprentices focusing on their daily tasks, - we will make registering as painless as possible, - accessing financial support is not required, - completing their training is the apprentices responsibility to become certified, - this also applies to all of our educational programs. “NO SHOW, NO GO”. About Us, - we ensure your apprenticeship training continuously evolves, automation and technology are part of our world today and advanced training will be introduced where it is applicable throughout our institutional development, - our playground campuses will address industry requirements directly to keep pace with employers needs. Our apprentices will become skilled competent people aware of entering and understand the full extent of an apprenticeship through to Journeyman. Our apprenticeship system focuses upon employers, student education, and competent well seasoned training providers (Mentors). We intend to associate with union/non-union open shop, and manufacturing if they choose, - encouraging industry sector stakeholder partnership, - and ensuring stability throughout our system, delivering to many Industry Sectors that will employ them, and their ability to Sponsor an individual. Our initiative is direct with clear priorities to, guide, educate, and develop our skilled trades throughout North America.
"Normally" The best part of being a Private Institutional Organization promoting our Career College University development in the areas of career alternatives, education, skills training, apprenticeships and so much more is the freedom to move fast. Private groups can change programs quickly to match what society needs alongside local, provincial, and national employers needs. They do not have to wait for slow government rules to update classes. "Speer Heading Innovation"? Implementing our direct teaching (mentoring) style without being dictated to or asking for permission. Where we focus on results, and job ready students making their own decision upon who will possibly sponsor them and or hire them.
Note; As stated in my last blog article posting called "Foundation" where I reflected upon a letter was sent to me from an ( Initiatives Officer FEDNOR July 2, 2009. Quote: In your efforts to start a new Private Career, Vocational Technical College University Institution that can offer degrees as well as diplomas you are indeed breaking new ground. Many European countries have incorporated a different sense of balance between what we call in North America "Trades and Professions", I guess you are no longer surprised to find you are swimming up stream.) However, this Career College University Development is a Unique North American Institutional development where we develop "What Counts Not a Head Count" as we see today. Note; we are not European.
The federal government's $6 billion and additional $2 billion Team Canada Strong skilled trades and training investments are channeled primarily through public training systems (such as public colleges, polytechnics, CEGEPs, and Indigenous Institutes), union training centers, and provincial-territorial bilateral agreements.
“Recent Federal & Provincial Adjustments” have further "Restricted or Tightened" financial aid eligibility (such as student grants and loans under financial assistance programs) for certain private career institutions rather than expanding support to them.
Private Colleges and Universities fund their operations primarily through student tuition and fees, investment returns from large financial endowments, philanthropic gifts and alumni donations, and targeted grants or research contracts. Unlike public institutions, they receive little to no direct operational funding from state or provincial governments, though they may still compete for public research grants. Interesting?
Does everyone like Apples & Oranges? Remember that old saying you can't compare
"Apples to Oranges" So Lets Compare?
"AWE" The Apples
The federal government’s flagship $6-billion Team Canada Strong plan and an additional $2 billion in bilateral agreements with provinces aim to recruit and train up to 100,000 new Red Seal trades workers over the next five years to combat a critical national shortage. The funding features several direct incentives for apprentices, unions, and employers: Financial Support for Apprentices: The Apprentice Completion Grant has increased to $5,000, and apprentices can receive an extra $400 per week on top of Employment Insurance (EI) while attending in-class training. Employer Hiring Incentives: Employers can receive up to $10,000 to support hiring first-year apprentices in Red Seal Trades through the Apprenticeship Service. Union and College Capacity: The Union Training and Innovation Program (UTIP) funding has been doubled to $50 million annually, alongside a new $20 million capital funding stream for colleges. Provincial Agreements: An additional $2 billion over five years has been allocated to expand training capacity, eliminate waiting lists, and break down systemic barriers. https://www.linkedin.com/posts/kristine-byers-rse-962144a1_i-couldnt-agree-more-the-skilled-trades-ugcPost-7485319187637342209-nig4/?utm_source=social_share_send&utm_medium=android_app&rcm=ACoAAEsVqa4BWedohTxUUQmMUqhaZNjJS7McCtM&utm_campaign=share_via
"AWE" The Oranges "Why Should Apples Have All The Fun"
Here at PH. Industrial Incorporated & Phate Vocational Technical College University Development we will run 5 week blocks within our Real World Institutional Development. Where each Skilled Trades Apprenticeship block will pay you $6,800. plus a bonus for your one week time off in between Blocks. They will also receive 3 substantial pay increase throughout their apprenticeship. We intend to develop Red Seal Skilled Trades through to completion in 30 Months from Apprentice through to Journeyman. Partnership with an existing accredited college "Would Have" always been acceptable years ago but "Not Expected" here in Canada today. From our College University & Educational side, those who are undergraduate and "Degree" minded etc... will also create an income of up to $2,700. within our student 5 week block programs which can also accelerated their income depending upon each individuals ambition reflecting upon their career goal and study demands. Industry Sectors as expressed in our Maple Leaf Banner above would benefit far more than $10,000 in developing a Stakeholder/Partnership in developing our next generation and then some.
However, noticing that Canada's "CUP IS FULL OF ELBOWS", along with our long time continuous "Lack" of interest from any existing accredited College or University in developing a partnership with our unique institutional development. "Shows Something Unprecedented or Intentional"? My Thoughts. Clearly, Two entities uniquely working together creating our Not-For-Profit side of this Private Non-Traditional Industry-Based Vocational Technical College University. Including our For- Profit Industry side being PH. Industrial Incorporated together these two will scale up creating a Competitive Edge in helping Industry, and our next generation through their Education, Skills & Training. “All Hands On Deck” stated by the Minister in the link above? "Unfortunately, this development will most likely not happen in Canada"?

Lets start at 2015 - 38 Million Canadians - Today those Canadian Youths are now 20 to 30 Years Of Age - While belonging to the 1996–2005 Canadian birth cohort, all identifying exclusively as male or female at birth, including our Canadian Indigenous, and high school dropouts nationwide. To express this originality as our institutional prerequisite, stating that applicants must demonstrate proficiency in English Reading, Writing, and Comprehension, alongside foundational mathematics. All part of “Our Academic Prerequisites” including our “Demographic & Eligibility Criteria”, Birth Year Range being born between January 1, 1996, and December 31, 2005. Gender Identity being biological sex identified strictly as Male or Female at birth for acceptance. Like all things being “Original” it’s important like a “Van Gogh” or a “Mona Lisa” expressing “Men & Women” only. Educational Status: open to high school graduates and (dropouts) wanting to drop back in. Geographic & Cultural Scope, open to all Canadian Men & Women citizens as stated, with pathways for Canadian Indigenous (First Nations, Inuit, and Métis) individuals from across all provinces and territories.
Attracting well seasoned Skilled Trades as “Mentors” to our “Real-World” Institution by expressing and embracing their experience that shaped their skills and confidence being on the job site or within manufacturing shop facilities. Having the time to explain the "why" behind the “work” not just the "how." Experienced knows their worth, compensation, perks, high salary caps, workplace culture, and they do best without micro-management, ensuring materials, plans, and permits are ready so work doesn't waste their time including the apprentices from standing around, safety is always a priority, and we also intend to reduces the grueling travel time to complete apprenticeship training. Mentorship opportunities create the foundation to lead teams, and pass on the knowledge to our next generation apprentices.
My Thoughts In Overdrive: Modern higher education faces valid criticism for favoring traditional academic degrees over skilled trades, apprenticeships, and "Alternative Learning Models". Colleges and Universities often underinvest in hands-on technical training, treating non-traditional career paths as secondary to conventional classroom degrees.
Note: In one of the paragraphs above that starts with "The Trojan Horse" the word "Request" to Stakeholder(s) stands? neweconomics_2003@hotmail.com
Here we are again with a list of Links for you to view if you like? However, the same thing applies, if for some reason I hurt your feeling in my comments, it's intentional.
When the interest accelerates we will be on our way?
Sounds like a plan, sign me up.
Not Surprising
Don't worry Elbow man will save them all?
Those who choose to pay big money will, those who choose to achieve the same with no costs will also, and gaining a world of experience. Choices are Fundamental.
Ontario Typical?
From our foundational mindset, I welcome the Enrollment Cliff, might wake some people up to the real world experiences expressed throughout our educational, & skills training institutional development. Note: We all know the big institutions are not going anywhere they will still portray their status Quo what ever that is.
How very true?????????
Seriously, Hard workers should not be looking for better opportunities, they should be readily available, and for employers looking to access the skills they need. Perhaps supporting an innovative institutional development such as this College University Development represents.
"AWE" The National Strategy I have one care to listen?
Canada’s skilled labour shortage isn’t only about finding more people, they "Imported" over 1.4 million intentionally which created all the major investments in housing? Infrastructure and energy has always been their for growth.
WOW, does this also apply to the 38 Million Canadians that were "Benched" from 2015? Stable Housing, Transportation Access, Family Support, Training & Apprenticeships
Workforce Development, Employer Support?
Indeed, We need to stay vigilant?
Interesting?
I like this it reflects upon an old song by Sam Cooke "A Change Is Gonna Come"
The best candidate for tomorrow’s challenges definitely will not be developed in the same way that support today's organizations A major shift in business leaders accepting frontline development processes will serve them well. Clearly. Hiring is no different.
From an Unprecedented Non-Traditional Industry-Based Vocational Technical College University Development point of view, we too can be just like you, Change, Choice & Opportunities.
I can't speak on behalf of the USA. However, processes to develop and deliver are innovative and available that meets the demand and embraces the people with opportunities that drive ambition.
Many trained and experienced skilled trades professionals in Canada are still trying to understand how you want their experience to connect with the huge fraudulent influx called new Canadians as pathways to generate skills? When 38 million Canadians have been benched, perhaps we need to express home grown Canadian patriots first? My Thoughts
Good luck with that? Never needed it in the beginning and most likely not required now? Another Techy looking for work?
Interesting, Like Canada many from across the country came to the Oil Patch. Although, it's not just bodies required, a well structured institution that delivers the skills will apply to any American Internal National Migration for work. Starts with a foundation of interest.
Finally the real Pre- as it was intended.
From a North America perspective, indeed the connection is critical, the attraction is not always money, one dose need to like what they do. Encouragement lies within the process being delivered? My Thoughts
