Business Development drives company growth by finding new markets, building strategic partnerships, and creating long term value. Private business drives growth by aligning investment products with market demands, scaling distribution channels, and leveraging deep industry networks to source proprietary deals, attract institutional capital, and build long-term client partnerships.
Note: A Follow Up On "Apples & Oranges" expressed in my last article posting.
PH. Industrial Incorporated & Phate a Private Non-Traditional Industry Based Vocational Technical College University Development, that by design will eliminate student costs, housing costs, tuition costs, student debt, and meal plans meaning "Food". “AWE” now they can focus directly upon the education and skills development required in today’s complex world with no distractions. However, each student will be required to "Earn Their Learn". Reducing administrative and operational costs. Where we will be able to support High-End Mentors, Professors, all operating throughout our "Self-Sustaining Institutional Development". Where the students create a clear mind and 100% focus upon their intentional studies and skills. How interesting it is to see how Leaders from Government, Labour, and Industry collaborating with each other, in the count down for “A Future Built On Skills 2026” Show-Boating just how they’re all going to deliver? Honestly, I've never seen them so affaid of a little Private Competition? Note: I've see others achieve a Board of Directors, others achieve Partnerships with Colleges and Universities where I have been ignored, and both Industry and Government Partnering with Institutions. Must Be The NDA? "It's A Big Club & I'm Not Invited" My Thoughts.
Note; "Food For Thought" "AWE" The Wake Up Call? Suprisingly, I was told once "Hell" my daughter needs to read this? Enjoy the read. https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/7-habits-turn-boys-men-christy-geiger-cpcc-mcc-utaue/
"Now Once Again", in the attached links below, I leave you with my thoughts, and to be "Clear" if I hurt your feelings in my comments it's truly intentional.
You know when the Altimate Expectations arrive, the public would become excited with alternative opportunities addressing the needs and personal development. "AWE", the professionals and continuing education that are built precisely for this moment has arrived. However, perhaps it's time for employer relationships, industry-specific curriculum, rapid program launches, and alternative credentialing expertise to step up to the plate? Private foundational institutions such as the one expressed in this article and what we intend to develop. Creating a better, smarter, and more direct decisions to appropriately initiate our Private Unprecedented Non-Traditional Industry-Based College University Development. Elaborating upon professional education, skills-training, skilled trades, and continuing education. This specific institutional development will serve as an "Institutional Economic Growth Engine" concidering where we are at a time when they are needed most. "WAITING"??????
It's not what the employee "Wants"? Since when did a potential employee dictate their expectations first? A “Full Throttle” company is in know position to accept any demands or ensure these expectations, good leadership, opportunities to grow with confidence that they're joining a well-run organization???? "Hit The Road Jack"? Bring your full “Comprehension of the English Language Reading & Writing”, “Math", and knowledge of, reading a "Measuring Tape" and other “Precision Calculated Measuring Instruments” that may be required, and leave your "Feelings" at the "DOOR"? Knowing the various basic (Job Specific) Machine Equipment or other you are appling for, if so, you can be "DAM" sure perhaps after a week with a good work ethic you will be a welcomed employee? It also takes a couple of months to settle in at that time you can make your decision to stay or go? My Thoughts (Show & Tell Time)?
SKILLED TRADES ONTARIO
The stategic plan is skilled trades ontario's three-year road map to deliver on its mission and vision, and set out its strategic direction and key priorities. Since our agency's launch in 2022, skilled trades ontario has strengthened partnerships with government, industryexperts, and educators. Together, we are reshaping ontario's apprenticeship system by improving access to imortant services and elevating awareness of the value and opportunities unique to the skilled trades. This strategic plan outlines the objectives, key actions, and performance metrics that will guide sto's effort over the next three years. We will deliveron this aspiration through five strategic pillars.
Streamlined Registration and Certification
Excellence in Standards and Curriculum
Public Awareness and Promotion
Equity, Opportunity, and Access
Engagement and Service Delivery
Note; I truly hope all the best for everyones asperations, "Government Always Knows What's Best$" as expressed in 2003 in my last article posting and the $12 Billion that brought us here today with "NO" results or accountability? "But" The incorporated "PRE" Remains Leashed to the Traditional College System. "Private Competition" would be exstreamly exciting in these unprecedented and challlenging times. However, "Private verses Public" not a chance in "HELL" here in Canada, we are up to our "Elbows" with Complicated Restrictive Legislation & Canadian "Un-Cultural" initiatives. My Thoughts.
In the 1960s (Canada) the institutions that we have all come to know were developed. There were Nostalgic Universities & Career Colleges dating back to 1896 that were Federally Incorporated in1964 Canada. And here we are America, as in Canada, learned valuable trades through apprenticeships, vocational education, and on-the-job training, but somewhere along the way, a four-year college degree became viewed as the primary path to success, and skilled trades were too often treated as second-class careers. And also 1910 through to 1970s shop class was the driver moving forward, but the Feds turned their backs on vocational. Indeed the bridge between young people searching for a future and careers offering good pay, purpose, and opportunity without necessarily requiring four years of college debt. Alternative Solutions are required today embracing innovative ingenuity? Clearly, when an incentive becomes clear, and when the opportunities present themselve within foundational prerequisites, where it's not always about the money first. Respect, Determination, Self Discipline, comes with two of the hardest words "Yes means Yes" & "No means No" accepting that sets precedence for accepting a foundational future. Money always follows completion?
"AWE" the critical supply chain, the investment, the talent, the End-to-End approach, the immeadiate skills needs, the strengthening of capacity, the building of future talent pipelines, & the "BS" continues? Elbows-UP Canada.
"AWE" examples in a mirror image of what did work? Like the 1960s paragraph above.
Quote - Notice: “More than any other factor analyzed, including race, gender and choice of university, what a person studies determines their odds of getting on a college-level career track. Internships are also critical.” Indeed, like Canada the costs for premier education is expensive? However, as stated in this article (Alternatives) with a combined effort upon accomplishments embaced by a unique experience will enlighten many self driven individuals to embrace an interest in education through to skills and training? Note: Original 2 Genders Are Us? Just like the beauty in an Original RainBow after a rain. Not a perversive flag, parade, or crosswalks? My Thoughts
Critical Thinking, Problem-Solving, Professionalism, Self Dicipine, Work Ethics, need to be taught alongside the technical skills themselves (Absolutely). And leave your "Feeling" at the door on your way in. Because career-ready means more than knowing how to do the job. It means knowing what to do when no one gives you the answer. My Thoughts
Given Up, "NO" but they too need an alternative from the high costs and so much more to attract, encourage, and inspire many and gain an expreience not found traditionally.
So it seems that we are in a short order cook system, through $20 bucks at it for a simple prep processes? Rather than creating an up-scale high-end complete meal experience? Retires are not on the short order list they are resourceful and require respect. “AWE”, yes the big boys thinking money is the solution, that is the short order mentality that knows “Jack Shit” about the skilled trades. Yes, some of us have been around a long time watching, listening, talking, promoting, advocating, and developing. The egg in the face of our acute problem has been around for decades. Indeed, I also remember safety it was expressed clearly of the Do’s & Don't s by the experienced. Now, some short order college grad with a safety diploma dictating to veterans, needless to say we have allowed the monster in the room of inexperienced people legislating how it should be safe, and “BS” continues to rules the day. Now the “mandating” behavior is here “WOW"? A well trained apprentice through to Journeyman has an environment behavior instilled within. Perhaps the Unions need to be “Mandating” some discipline back in the ranks. A “Name Hire” meant Trust, Skilled and Knowledgeable where many new them and appreciated them on site. The primary focus needs to be on talent selection and development like weeding the garden through a direct approach of “WHAT’S” needed within a disciplined process? Implementing professional screening, testing, and evaluating candidates would/should be a prerequisite. “I LIKED THIS PART” The industry family that supports discipline, grit, initiative, flexibility, resilience, cold/hot/long hours/tough commutes and will be challenging as hell. Excuses don’t fly. So, if you have just come for the paycheck or your mom wants you off the couch or you need your “me-time” day off or you are triggered easily, lack common sense, or you cannot be on time – don’t let the door hit you in the ass. OTJ. Mentoring exponentially increases retention. It supports training, coaching, and skill refinement. Indeed the silent army deserves attention in both Manufacturing & Construction where innovation creates change. Note: both Manufacturing & Construction have very similar pathways?
Well Canada this doesn't come as a surprise (Called Government Control) or (Humpty Dumpty Government) when escalating cost, inflation, or blame it upon macroeconomic conditions. But while Ottawa and the provinces debate resource extraction, entrepreneurship—the heartbeat of innovation, job creation, and economic growth—is in sharp decline. Indeed entrepreneurship has been declining for decades in Canada. Needless to say it has nothing to do with $Billions upon $Billions that have gone offshore instead of onshore. Taxes, another proposal to raise capital gains taxes, definitely takes the heart out of ambition for potential risk-taking entrepreneurs. And for the public sector control over employment and NGO/charity jobs are on the rise. And you wonder why public-sector employment has grown while private-sector jobs have declined. Eventually, the government and taxpayer-supported entities could dominate employment (Becoming A Controlled State) or are we their already. A recent post on X highlighted the cratering of entrepreneurship in Canada. This is important because innovation and entrepreneurship drive new jobs and wealth creation. Having a robust, innovation-driven economy is the goal of every developed democratic market economy. Entrepreneurship is collapsing, Canada had a robust innovative-driven sector. Before the Socialist Liberals came into power in 2015. Today, innovation in Canada is struggling, and GDP has stagnated or declined. It is more of a question of pain today, or greater pain tomorrow. Most politicians will kick the can down the road so they can get reelected on promises they will never keep. Note; how do you express one’s demise “Elbows-Up Canada” that’s how. My Thoughts
